The very same  big band sound that filled America's dance and concert halls over a half century ago is alive and swingin' right here baby!

Ken Reed -Baritone Sax

Ken Reed is a graduate of West Phalian High in the wilds of north central Delaware, who later moved to Canada and matriculated at the now defunct Superior Alberta School of Heart Knox (I think that's what he said).  Finding himself surprisingly well-known and highly prized as husband material among the more remote native settlements in the Wood Buffalo National Park area, Ken was faced with the difficult choice of surrendering or relocating. He accepted the eager and able assistance of the RCMP in choosing both options. Since moving to the north state and adopting his new persona, Ken has settled in nicely, finding both relatively steady employment and a remarkably attractive and forgiving wife. As the newest member of the Straight Ahead ensemble, Reed has a few hundred tunes to catch up on, but his lack of sight reading skills don't seem to be hindering him as much as anticipated. As nice as his wife and children are, we'll cut him some slack and give him a little while to get us a real bio. Otherwise he'll find himself wondering why people are saying things about him (before I make up further stories about him -- not hard to do with somebody that wears that moustache). And let's just hope the kid that owns that horn doesn't find out where it is.
